Schopin studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a student of Antoine-Jean Gros, a prominent French painter. Schopin's work was well-regarded during his lifetime, and he exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon. His notable works include "Bacchanal" and "Amazon on a Turbulent Coastline," which highlight his skill in capturing movement and dramatic compositions.
